Condo Insurance in Tampa, Florida Needed ASAP?

Now that State Farm Insurance will no longer be providing home or condo insurance, does anyone know another company that has reasonable insurance? I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest but want a reliable one that will PAY if I actually have a claim!

Your SAFEST bet is Citizens. Even though they are a state run insurer, and might take forever to pay your claim, they are the government, and have the money to pay. A small start up will just close shop and leave you hanging if they get too far in over their heads.

Citizens Insurance is the State of Florida insurance carrier, however you may need to go through a company that will underwrite the policy. The public is unable to go directly though Citizens, and you will need an agency. Cambridge can also give you quotes from other insurance carriers.

(Is your condo FEE SIMPLE ownership? or do you have a condo association with a HOA fee? The HOA fee should cover the insurance for the condo…)

    You can start with >
    Cambridge Insurance Agency

Allison Dunn / Client Service Rep

    6320 South Dale Mabry Highway

    Tampa, Fl. 33611

    813.835.2579

Jenny K, Home insurance covers lots of different things. I’m not familiar with all the fine print of my policy, but my homeowners insurance agent is always helpful. Try calling your agent or a agent in your town. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Home-Insurance.html They will be able to help you.
