the county publishes property transfers after they are sold, try the county parcel search website. What you wont find included that is important is whether or not sellers assistance was offered, if any assessments were paid at the time of sale, did the unit need updating. They wont tell you if the association is well run, or if the building needs big stuff fixed soon. The condo market is complicated, so a realtor who specializes in them might be the way to go. Or watch the market for a while go see a bunch and ask a buncha questions at each building to the building management.

If you’re just asking them to work, and share the tools they pay for for no pay (not to mention still having liability risk), I don’t blame them.

When is the last time you did unpaid professional work, with tools you paid for, gratis?

I don’t ask people to sign buyers agency agreements just to get a few minutes of my time, but if you’re coming on like someone who just wants free service – and we get them, all the time – then you shouldn’t blame them.

What sort of work do you do, so we can all ask you to do unpaid work for us?

You can look at the county records office, but it is only going to list the sales price. The tax assessor’s office will have information about square footage, bedrooms and baths, but nothing about condition.

I am afraid without all the pertinant information, you won’t be making an informed decision.

check major local newspapers – Phila Inquirer has local sales transactions every week (there are a couple of months behind the actual sales date) or you county courthouse, but they probably won’t be up to the minute either
