Is it worth making an offer on a short sale condo?

Is it worth making an offer on a short sale condo or should I just look for reos instead? Opinions? The bank is US Bank.
The condo is in South Florida
It’s probably worth making an offer because you might get a good deal, but don’t expect a quick answer. For some reason, banks take a long time responding and won’t deal much.
If you have time to wait for response it can be worth it.
